A fine Comedian

There is a certain someone in your life who can always make you laugh. No matter how low u might be feeling. I remember I was in 12th or sometime after that. I would watch the show – Kids say the darndest things – It was aired in the afternoon, my mom would be sleeping at that time. At times, I would laugh so hard that she would get up with a startle and ask me if everything is all right? : ) i am talking about Bill Cosby

I decided to read a few quotes by him today, I realised that it is very addictive. Spent almost an hour, and just couldn’t stop. His quotes reflect wisdom. I have come to realise that the source of laughter or the joke is pain. The ability to laugh at the situation is the best way to deal with it. He had 5 children. Even with him and his wife’s education in child psychology, they seem to have faced slightly tough times like we all do. He didn’t just crib about it, he went out and shared it with the famous blank expression of his and we related and laughed and somehow got out of the pain. Kudos to him.

Here are some quotes by him. The best part is that he has something for everyone.

“Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry.”

“Gray hair is God’s graffiti”

“In spite of the six thousand manuals on child raising in the bookstores, child raising is still a dark continent and no one really knows anything. You just need a lot of love and luck — and, of course, courage.”

The truth is that parents are not really interested in justice. They just want quiet.

  1. Read thru.. Sounds interesting.. Everyone has a way to vent out the inner feelings and Bill Cosby had this.. What I could understand out of this post is that everyone needs to do something for the cause that he/she feels about.. Like Bill Cosby made people laugh.. Last Sunday I had an opportunity to interact with blind students and I could somehow comprehend the problems that they face in their day to day life.. It made me think that till the time I hadn’t met these guys I wasn’t aware and now that I am aware of this, I should do something for this cause and so I enrolled my self voluntarily to help them out in their software and braille book writing work.. Lets till how loooooooooong m I able to carry on this noble work…
