Always!!!

I know it is said that there is nothing certain in this world. It is also said that we shouldn’t use the word “always” and “never” as nothing is permanent.

I disagree!

There is one thing that I am certain of. Even though in weak moments I might not understand it and question it or argue with it… Am sure He loves us and always always will. Always!

Shocked and Confused

I am coming to believe that there are 2 kinds of people. One who are critics and one who are so glad that they did something that they love what they did.¬†¬†There is some sense of accomplishment in making your own food I guess which leaves you in ¬†shock and confusion when others don’t like it.

Last week, I was so pleased with the dal I made. My mom tasted it and kept the cooker back on gas. I was shocked. It was the most amazing dal I had ever tasted. What happened here?

Today, when the turn of daal came again, mom made it in the morning itself.

They don’t make men like this anymore.

Dictionary says that  gentleman is
(1) a man who combines gentle birth or rank with chivalrous qualities
(2) a man whose conduct conforms to a high standard of propriety or correct behavior
I have been graced with a few gentleman in my life. If you have read https://mannkiwindow.wordpress.com/2011/06/20/love/ this is the same chacha that I am going to talk about now.
I had a friend over recently, I was busy with some work on the comp and was in my bedroom. Since my friend is a typical friend who feels he has no boundaries even when i work, he was yapping something in my left ear. My chacha was told that I am in my bedroom with a friend. He came till the door, said he was leaving and left. It truly takes a gentleman to not disturb someone while working.¬†They don’t make men like this anymore!!!
There is one gentleman I have found around my age, we were traveling together and I had a bag with me. He asked me to keep it on the rack. I said I was comfortable with it. He asked, “how would I know how comfortable I am unless I try sitting without the bag” Good point! and I thought it made sense to keep the bag on the rack because he would be more comfortable if he knew I was comfortable.¬†They just don’t make men like this anymore ūüôā

On Traveling

Travel teaches a lot of things. Thanks to my job and because of His grace, I have traveled a lot last few years.¬†For me, Surprisingly, Travel has taught me that people, dialects may differ but trees and dogs remain the same. The trees look the same, the dogs look just the same, the birds sound the same, the mountains look the same… only people look different. Why I wonder?
