I feel like a queen

I think I was born for royalty. I am living in a hotel past few days with no fixed agenda. I have nothing planned and absolutely no responsibilities. I have a television which has discovery channel and comedy nights with kapil. Though I am busy discovering Bangalore so have not spent more than an hour with the tv.

Staying in a hotel room has a lot of advantages. I don’t have to cook, clean or anything. The housekeeping not only does the dusting but even comes and makes the bed. What else is left? I have all the time to think, read, write and wander.

A very tiny part of me is getting homesick. I occasionally worry about my plants and miss the simple dal khichdi but now I understand the true importance of taking a break like this. No worries. Hope we are all able to live like this for sometime ūüėČ

one more reason that contributed in making me feel like a queen is dove Soap. I had participated in dove contest and got 2 dove bars and I packed it for my trip to bengaluru. The fact that dove works in hard water is just awesome. Thanks dove  http://www.dove.in/en/Products/Bar-Body-Wash/Bar/Cream-Beauty-Bathing-Bar.aspx

They don’t make men like this anymore.

Dictionary says that  gentleman is
(1) a man who combines gentle birth or rank with chivalrous qualities
(2) a man whose conduct conforms to a high standard of propriety or correct behavior
I have been graced with a few gentleman in my life. If you have read https://mannkiwindow.wordpress.com/2011/06/20/love/ this is the same chacha that I am going to talk about now.
I had a friend over recently, I was busy with some work on the comp and was in my bedroom. Since my friend is a typical friend who feels he has no boundaries even when i work, he was yapping something in my left ear. My chacha was told that I am in my bedroom with a friend. He came till the door, said he was leaving and left. It truly takes a gentleman to not disturb someone while working.¬†They don’t make men like this anymore!!!
There is one gentleman I have found around my age, we were traveling together and I had a bag with me. He asked me to keep it on the rack. I said I was comfortable with it. He asked, “how would I know how comfortable I am unless I try sitting without the bag” Good point! and I thought it made sense to keep the bag on the rack because he would be more comfortable if he knew I was comfortable.¬†They just don’t make men like this anymore ūüôā
